Any connection between cases like this, the Oscar Grant shooting, and other police abuses from Seattle to Houston to New Orleans, and recent legislation weakening regulation of riot squads and encouraging federal liaisons with local police? Or with the recent Supreme Court decision making it illegal to resist illegal police entry (Indiana) and legalizing warrantless entry in cases where police suspect destruction of evidence (U.S. Supreme Court).
